We came there not expecting a ground floor room. I had contacted them a month before explaining about the bad health problems of my partner with his legs bandaged and foot problems and that he hardly could manage stairs at that time. And the reply was they couldn't guarantee a room on the ground floor. When we arrived I was so very surprised that they had; they especially kept the room for us on the ground floor also near the breakfast room. So very considerate. I was so glad they did, it was so much easier for my partner. We were there at an earlier time then we mentioned and in spite of that the reception was very good. The breakfast was very good. There was a lot of various breads, different meats and cheeses, eggs and sweets. Not so much variety in yoghurt, cottage cheese and fruit, but at least it was there. The beds were good, the cleanliness too. We didn't have a wide view, but we did't mind that. We just stayed two nights and the stay was fine for our purpose.

The owners live below and are always on hand with any need. They make you feel like one of the family. I won’t stay anywhere else when I work in Lower Saxony.

Everything was handled brilliantly from the moment we arrived, Wulf was waiting for us with a sign as we came off the ferry and it was a great surprise to have a horse carriage bring us to the guesthouse! Hosts were incredibly friendly and also had a fridge we could help ourselves to for a small fee which is very helpful on such an island when shops close in the evening and Sundays. Overall, it was a lovely stay! I particularly appreciated that we even had the option to stay for one night when a lot of over accomodation was not allowing us to book only for one night - but we wanted to see the island over the weekend and not spend a fortune! Christoph was suuuuuper friendly, very flexible and relax. We really enjoyed our stay. Just the bathroom was a bit small, but for a few nights it is not a big thing. We definitely recommend it!
