The city is a cute town and the nature surrounding it is very beautiful and various. We travelled by bus and that worked great to reach the lakes near Lenzkirch.

Wonderful accommodation. 5 min walk from the lake, 2 min walk from restaurants and city centre and 15 min walk from the thermal baths. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and the balcony had chairs, table and a beautiful view. Breakfast was rich: assorted breads, different types of cheese and ham, marmalade, honey and eggs. For breakfast, each guest has a table already prepared in the morning, therefore no queues or waiting. The host was super nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

Breakfast room stays open 24/7, so a free snack and a drink can be found after coming in from a long hike in mid afternoon. The place was fully booked, but never felt crowded, not even at 8 am for breakfast. Wifi is excellent. Beds are made daily and are super comfy. Hot showers throughout the day. BnB is located 1/3 mile from the popular restaurants and shops by the lake, yet gives peace and quiet any time of day. Restaurants downtown offer traditional Schwartzwald cuisine, but also pizza and Indian food can be found.
