Warm welcome by friendly staff. The room was very clean, light and spacious. This typical German guest house is situated in a very quiet residential area. Perfect for spending the night en route. There is a Greek restaurant within walking distance across a small park. The guesthouse doesn’t provide breakfast. However an excellent breakfast is served at a stone’s throw from the guest house at Cafe am See. Make sure to reserve a table though. This place was very popular on Sunday morning and has a nice atmosphere. Good value for money breakfast at 11,50€ including coffee.

Very good selection at breakfast, hosts were very accommodating, I speak no German and their English was way better. Offroad parking for my motorcycle greatly appreciated.

Very good base for a night - nothing in the village itself and in the imminent area, but just a 10 minute drive to Detmold, Bad Meinberg or Blomberg. Room was clean, we were quite happy about the upgrade to the large appartment as the rooms upstairs were taken (Thank you!). Check in was easy and no-frills via a keybox. Private spacious parking lot.

Lovely house is a "suburban" garden setting. Very friendly host and comfortable room. Beer, wine and snacks available for a small charge. Good but basic German breakfast served in a lovely room.

Great location - very near to the city centre and the station. The room was clean, the bathroom very nice, comfortable bed. There was a (common) kitchen with basic equipment. The windows had blinds, so it was possible to darken the room very efficiently. Lots of sockets to charge devices. The plastic mat for wet shoes was a really nice touch.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good and the free parking was a great bonus. Plus the tv included the sky news channel so we could keep up with things
