The hosts are incredibly warm and friendly people. I ended up here for a night because of car trouble and they took excellent care of me. They even prepared a delicious dinner even though the restaurant was officially closed. Will always come back here when I'm in the area. :)

This is a roadside inn on the outskirts of the Bavarian town of Deggendorf. We were using it for one night as a stopover, while we were traveling through Germany. It is in a small village a few kilometers from the city proper and the landscape is serene and extremely beautiful with forests, rolling hills and wide valleys. It is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing and is the perfect place for people looking for a pastoral and relaxing environment, outside the bustle of the city. The room was clean and spacious with a private bathroom and windows overlooking the surrounding hills. The buffet breakfast was nice and the traditional German countryside aesthetic was very unique. This place offers overall excellent price-value ratio. I am hoping to return in the future for some quiet relaxation, now that I have discovered this place.

Excellent breakfast, breathtaking view. I am a regular overnight guest at this location. And I can only recommend for a longer stay - when someone loves taking hikes and walks in the forest/mountains.
