this is perfect place with family atmosphere, superb owners, taking care in level of parents. The room was big and very clean, view is relaxing and green. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms with view on the surrounding mountains, good breakfast. The hotel, located on the outskirts of the small town, is a branch of the "main" hotel Siebenstern which is in the centre of the town. The main branch offers services like a restaurant serving a wide choice of meals at evenings that the hotel garni does not provide. Both hotels are about a five-minutes walk apart.

We stayed for one night on our trip from Berlin to Austria. We were not aware of the beautiful mountain and forest area that was awaiting us. Heide Machold's place is a nice family guest house with simple but comfortable rooms and VERY good beds. Breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant (which is very well patronised also by local people). In the morning, the host gave us some hints for a short hiking tour of the most amazing rock formations and a terrific view over the entire region. It's a place really worthwhile visiting. And one should bring some more time to explore the region ...
