The location was just beautiful. It was under construction, which made finding the entrance a bit challenging, but the staff were so helpful in getting me to where I needed to be. Breakfast was so good - mostly locally sourced/fair trade. I'll be back!

Very nice small hotel, close to the centre (a short, pleasant walk along the river), with free parking; the room was very well appointed, with a small balcony, comfortable beds, a small desk etc. everything super clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but we didn't mind at all, it was fine. Good breakfast and excellent staff: helpful and always smiling. Highly recommended!!

The lodge itself is beautiful and fully equipped. There is underfloor heating and a wood burner - very cosy! The hosts are lovely and made us feel very welcome. Travel was difficult due to heavy snow on the day we were supposed to leave, but they told us we were welcome to stay another night until it was safe to travel.
