Penzion Osika is a delight to stay, although the house is on a remote location. Outside of Nova Bystrice on the edge of the forest and the lake it is a perfect place for hikers and lovers of nature. The town is 5 minuten in the car and offers some restaurants and small shops. Within ten minutes you cross the border to Austria. The house - halve of a double - is excellent equipped. Two spacious bedrooms, a smaller living room and fine kitchen. We loved the bathroom, which was newly renovated compared to our stay a year earlier. Yes, we did come back for a second time, and hopefully that is not the last time. Recommended.

Completely updated rooms were gorgeous! Modern and clean, lots of light and windows. We faced the street but it’s a quiet town. The breakfast area is quaint and plenty of food options. There weren’t a ton of guests so our stay was quiet. We arrived early, contacted the property and were able to drop off our bags via external keys. Very handy.

Beautiful location in the heart of the forest and in general a very cosy region. Very welcoming host, although he didn't speak English (and I didn't speak Czech) we managed to understand each other. We stayed in the house which had 3 rooms (including 3 private bathrooms), a huge dining area / living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Bonus were the board games and toys for kids. The breakfast was also pleasant.

Welcoming owners - Location is probably one of the best spot around - Dinner / breakfast - Cosy, comfortable, sparkling clean 2nd time here as a one night stopover of a few days bike touring trip with my son. I would recommend. Fabulous landscapes and trail at the border with Austria. Nice and wild forest. Perfect region for hiking and biking. Many thanks to the owners for the nice stay!
