You need a car, but you are perfectly situated both for Lázně Kynžvart, Kladská, Cheb and Marianské and Františkovy Lázně.

Simple, good motel for a good price. Don't expect a luxury, but if you need nice place to sleep for a good price, Penzion nad Halou is what you are looking for. Room furnishing is just right: enough hooks, chairs and shelves. Yeah, I know that should be obvious, but in many much more expensive hotels I was lacking simple one hook more in the bathroom. The surroundings are nice and quiet. It is a good starting point for one day trips around the region if you are traveling by a car.
