Our stay at the Pension was great. Good breakfast and the hosts are wonderful and very welcoming. I would definitely stay there again. I am a light sleeper and was woken every morning at 5 am by the light in the room, darker curtains would have been beneficial. In any case our stay was great and I would definitely recommend the Pension.

Chata Zakouti is a gem that brings the true old school tourism atmosphere and attracts hikers and bikers who look for nature. The stuff is wonderful, extremely polite and helpful, food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Rooms are modest but allow good sleep. Common bathrooms are clean and sufficient in number. Amazing place! Welcoming hosts, cheap food and drinks, good WiFi. Showers a bit small. We stayed 3 nights, English was a bit difficult but they made it work. We had dinners and breakfast every day, so great to be pampered. They also advised us on a great hike. Park the car, take a bus up the hill and walk back to the car through the Elbe Valley, around 17KM. The hotel is located a bit further away from towns but everything you need is right there. While we were there they did a sausage roast night, lovely that they did this and great to have some interaction with other guests as well.
