- we had a villa with sea view (actually all villas have sea view ;-)) - we enjoyed being surrounded by amazing nature and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere to relax and unwind - it’s a very well maintained property, plants, flowers, trees and even animals (eg tucans who came close to our kitchen window) - villa had a sun-shaded terrace for relaxing, reading and eating meals and you can walk to the waterfall to the property jungle directly - we used additional roof top terrace for yoga and looking into the stars at night - Ken and Johnson are incredible nice hosts Overall recommendation to stay for some days to get the best out of it.

Everything. Honestly, we were so comfortable and loved having birds around us and hearing the howler monkeys from the poolside. The cabin was spot on and, although it's definitely in our "splurge" category for price, we would do it again without hesitation.

The seating area outside is fabulous . This feels like a traditional Costa Rican house. The garden is looked after and there is AC and a ceiling fan . You look straight at the sea . You can hear the waves all night

The view was amazing! From the infinity pool, the private balcony, the kitchen area and even from our comfy bed! The room was magnificent, super convenient, nice facilities and extra clean! And to had on top of that, beautiful sunset every night!

Casa Calocita is an oasis in an already amazing town. Arianna and Jacque were absolutely amazing while I stayed there. Being very inviting and friendly. Having open conversations but not pushing the boundaries of their presence. The actual house is a very nice environment for solo travelers and couples. Having a communal kitchen that isn’t intimidating to go make meals and socialize with the other patrons. I’m very happy I got to start my journey here and would recommend staying to anyone

Loved it here, I would come back again! Super clean, good vibes- we played music one night and made good memories. Close to everything you need and across the street from the beach. The owner Danny is a super cool guy and helped me out alot , gave me a ton of information , rented a quad from him and went on a few tours( tortuga island and bioluminesence) . Thanks for everything guys!
