I stayed in a beautiful and charming bungalow facing the rolling waves on the beach, which was magical. The staff were very attentive and supportive. The breakfast was fit for royalty. The owners are wonderful and also offer many extra services like massage and yoga etc. I can’t wait to return.

Pousada Marau is a wonderful place. When we were staying there we had the whole beach for ourselves. We felt very welcome by everyone there. Our host Vas was especially welcoming and was extremely helpful too, booking us a quad bike and helping navigate the location. The only drawback was the drive to get there, however it wasn’t a deal breaker. We were supposed to be staying there for 2 nights however ended up extending for 6 nights. The food and drinks were great and we ended up having all of our meals at the Pousada Marau. The steak and fish stew were the highlights. And also the coco tapioca dessert was especially great. The best dessert we’ve had in Brazil. Would very much recommend.

Friendliest staff. Beautiful location and facilities. Food is amazing, also fresh fruit juices. Lovely pool and beach area. Beach a bit hard for swimming but if you walk 15 minutes to the right there are natural pools that are amazing. Extremely calm and relaxing, not much going on, so you should only go ifyou really want to disconnect and relax in a beautiful place. Everything is really beautiful, great attention to detail and friendliest staff i met in all of Brazil
