We have fond memories of this accomodation. This family run pension has a rich and long tradition, going back to more than 100 years. We were happy to interact with the father, the son and the daughter. All are fine people with good hearts, serious about their business, and very friendly to the guests. Breakfast was amazingly rich and delicious, location excellent with plenty of free parking, and the room was spacious.

Everything top quality throughout the accommodation. The village was wonderfully quiet, with a small but well-stocked shop, a basic pub and an hourly train to the city of Graz. A good base to explore this lesser-known region of Austria, provided you have a car. Tip: a pleasant 30 minute walk along quiet lanes takes you to the Buschenschank of Erich Christiner, with excellent and affordable wines and food. Just check the irregular opening hours.
