The house is beautiful! We enjoyed the big spacious rooms and the pool saved us from the extreme heat in Robertson! The host was wonderful, she was easy to reach and sent us many tips and suggestions for our time there! Absolutely wonderful place to rent for a bigger family or a group of friends! Definitely recommended!

Situated in Plettenberg Bay and only 1.3 km from Goose Valley Golf Club, Tidal Retreat features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property is very well located within a golf estate. 5 min drive to Plett beach and town. Very good security. The closest beach is by the lagoon a 100 m from the house. The rooms were clean and beautiful overlooking the garden. Thank you to Jan for welcoming us. We will definitely stay here again, when in the area.

Situated in Franschhoek, La Clé Lodge offers accommodation with a terrace or a patio, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as free bikes and a shared lounge. Stole our hearts after several pit stops around the Cape. It’s one of the most beautiful properties we’ve stayed in. The staff is very friendly and attentive, a lot of activities on site but also a perfect place to relax and unwind. We can’t wait to be back!

Head over Hills is an exclusive retreat in Knysna. Set on the jagged edge of the famous rocky cliffs of the Knysna Heads, this well-appointed guest house has a heated swimming pool. Loved everything. Staff are very attentive and always eager to make your stay comfortable.

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront. This hotel is located in an old mansion, and it felt like we were staying in a piece of living history. The period details were stunning! We stayed in one of the Suites with a Lagoon View and I can’t recommend it enough. Our room was on the second floor with a huge wraparound balcony (connecting to all the other rooms on the floor but with a small fence separating each) and a gorgeous view of the Knysna waterfront. In addition to a spacious room with a view, the bathroom was also amazing. The rain shower was by far the best of the trip, and I wish we’d had a chance to have a bath in the clawfoot tub. We loved wandering around the hotel and grounds, just taking everything in. At night, there is a little bar in a room off the hotel’s foyer and it was so cool to enjoy a drink while looking at old black-and-white photos of the family who used to live in the house. I also really enjoyed our breakfast, which is served in another gorgeous room with carved ceilings and an old fireplace, and which includes both a cold buffet and a made-to-order hot meal.
