Offering 123 rooms with stunning views of the sea, Octant Ponta Delgada is a vibrant and cosmopolitan hotel with an outdoor swimming pool located in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island of the Azores... good location for day trips, not too far from centre of Ponta Delgada. room was very comfortable, the bed was huge. I loved the cookies that they left every day. restaurant - unbelievable food, especially the tasting menu. so much choice at breakfast too. nice spa, although not very big so only went a couple of times.

We loved the house, the gardens and the facilities. The view of the ocean from the house was exceptional. The garden was unique and beautiful, the perfect place to relax after a day of hikes and tourist activities. The host was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and went out of her way to provide information and tourist activities. The house is a short drive from most Sao Miguel attractions. This is a very special place and our experience was unforgettable.

Casa da Beija is a 2-bedroom holiday house located in Furnas, a 10-minute walk from Furnas Lagoon, in São Miguel Island. It offers free WiFi access. The host met us at the property and let us check in before the official time. The host has left for us fresh bread, some jams and milk. The place was clean, didn't really use the kitchen, except for a few plates and glases. there was a terrace where you can cach some afternoon sun. The place is round the corner from Dona Beija Pools, shop with cafeteria and bus stop, 10 minutes walk from Terra Nostra Park.

The shower is really nice, good pressure and the living room area feels nice to be there and enjoying some time with friends. You have an outside area with a garden that you can enjoy when the sun is shining and also a rooftop. It's a nice and quiet area.

Quinta das Mercês is a 16th century country house offering luxury accommodation in front of the sea. It is situated on Mount Brasil, 5 minutes' drive away from the centre of Angra do Heroísmo. Location could not have been better. Beautiful home. Just outside of Angra on the water. Quiet and peaceful after a day of white knuckle driving on the island! The owner, Maria, was absolutely lovely, as was her staff. Excellent price also. Hope to go back and stay in the spring.

Bem Estar Dona Adelina is located in Ponta Garça, 25 km from Ponta Delgada and 16 km from Furnas, in the southern part of the São Miguel Island of the Azores archipelago. Nice room, a lovely terrace and big backyard, spacious kitchen and nice common area. There is a lovely viewpoint only 50m away, where you can enjoy almost a private view of the ocean and the little island of Vila Franca do Campo in the distance. The host was super friendly and the communication and check-in process was easy. Recommended!
