Situated in the heart of Surrey, The Lodge @ Kingswood offers hotel accommodation within the grounds of a championship golf course. I ended up here by chance… my flight got canceled and all the hotels at Gatwick and surroundings were fully booked so I found this one on booking and arrived very late at night. The hotel was stunning, the bed extremely comfortable and Thomas at the reception made my day! When I woke up the next day I found up I had slept in the middle of a golf club lol I had breakfast on a sunny terrace and walked around the little forest. I wish I play golf so I could go back here! Simply amazing, peaceful and beautiful place!

Set in 125 acres of formal gardens, this 13th-century double-moated castle offers luxurious yet modern bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. I loved everything about my stay at Hever castle. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and it's wonderful that you get to explore the grounds on your own once the gardens and castle close to the general public. Wandering the gardens after-hours and a nice stroll in the morning is one of the best parts of staying here. They offer a full bar till midnight and I highly recommend a glass of champagne and a stroll in the garden in the evening as well as another when you soak in the tub. The room itself was well appointed with comfortable linens, plush towels, a nice tea set, chests and an Armoire to store clothing. I loved the claw foot cast iron tub in the bathroom and specifically purchased some lovely bath salts from the gift shop made with lavender from the garden just to use in such an excellent tub ( a push button start walk in shower is also available too). Staff are so kind and accommodating and help make the stay extra special. The breakfast was wonderful and I definitely ate my fill of the excellent continental and hot food menu items. There are no options for dinner on site, so I highly recommend preserving a spot at the Henry VIII restaurant within walking distance from the Castle (delicious food) Staying here was by far one of the highlights of my trip.

Located less than 1 km from Northumbria University and a 18-minute walk from Theatre Royal in the centre of Jesmond, Great North Getaways - Newcastle upon Tyne provides accommodation with free WiFi... Great apartment, very clean, lovely comfortable beds, coffee and tea provided, and tvs for kids to use in their own room. Picked a top apartment which had no noise. Everything provided which we could need.

Boasting a garden, a terrace, and barbecue facilities, Peak District Shepherds Hut provides accommodation in Hope with free WiFi and garden views. Absolutely gorgeous setting, high up above the village of Hope and close to the ascent to Win Hill. This little cabin is located on a charming hillside, with sheep and lambs coming up to the gate to say hello. Very idyllic and quiet at night (save for the bleating lambs!) with a gorgeous view south across the valley. There is a little barbecue and outside seating area to take it all in. The cabin itself is compact, but clean and with everything you need for a quirky couple of nights' stay. Would absolutely book again.

Situated in Whitby, 500 metres from Whitby Beach and 1.7 km from Sandsend Beach, Ellies Guest House features sea views and free WiFi. Martyn & Paula are fab, friendly welcome into their home. Good breakfast choice, practically any variation you could think, as long as it's listed on the menu!! There's also extra little things like more tea and coffe, wine glasses if you need them. Happy to recommend, and probably will stay again

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Leeds Castle Maiden's Tower is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Maidstone, a few steps from Leeds Castle. I liked the location, the castle, the feeling of being accomodated in a castle, the history, traditions, and the food.
