I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch. Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits. There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents. The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast comes with big selection and generously portion, and delicious too. Guests are allowed to walk on the buggy tracks to take in the beautiful golf course and assess to nearby surf beach is a good selling point.

Boasting a tennis court, indoor pool and a fitness centre, RACV Torquay Resort offers accommodation in Torquay, just 1 km from the beachfront. large room with king bed and views over the golf course and ocean beyond. Nice restaurant, and the bar / lounge area was great to sit in the afternoon for a relaxing wine and nibbles. Would definitely recommend and we would stay there again.

Offering self-contained, adult only accommodation with a gas log-fireplace and a balcony overlooking lovely gardens, Marysville Cottages are 5 minutes' drive from Steavenson Falls. It is a lovely cottage, beautifully designed, warm and cosy with beautiful views and in the heart of Marysville. Close to walks etc but also close to shops etc. Wendy our host was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

The Dolphin Apartments boast 4.5-star luxury accommodation. Located in the picturesque town of Apollo Bay, guests enjoy free WiFi and access to BBQ facilities. Will definitely be back. The apartment was absolutely stunning. So clean. MICHEAL a staff member, was amazing to speak with. Showing us around advising us of some nice spots to eat and what time the shops closed. Will definitely be back.

Located in the heart of the Yarra Valley and 45 minutes' drive from Melbourne, Yering Gorge Cottages offers accommodation overlooking The Eastern Golf Club and alongside the Yarra River. Everything! The cottage is so nice and clean with everything we need. We found a bunch of kangaroos and parrots just outside the place. The bed is also very comfy and warm with the warm sheet machines. I and my husband love this place so much and would like to revisit when have a chance.
