The lodging is located on the Mornington Peninsula, where several high quality public golf courses are located. I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch. Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits. There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents. The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

Nice restaurant, and the bar / lounge area was great to sit in the afternoon for a relaxing wine and nibbles. Would definitely recommend and we would stay there again.

Marysville Garden Cottages are located just 150 metres from Bruno's Art & Sculpture Garden. It is 3 minutes' walk from restaurants and cafes. Guests can enjoy skiing, hiking and mountain biking at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, 25 minutes' drive away. It is a lovely cottage, beautifully designed, warm and cosy with beautiful views and in the heart of Marysville. Close to walks etc but also close to shops etc. Wendy our host was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Free WiFi is provided. Everything! The cottage is so nice and clean with everything we need. We found a bunch of kangaroos and parrots just outside the place. The bed is also very comfy and warm with the warm sheet machines. I and my husband love this place so much and would like to revisit when have a chance.
