We arrived quite late at the accommodation and everything was prepared for us to rest.

The owner family was very helpful and friendly. The location of the accommodation up in the countryside was wonderful and peaceful. Homemade breakfast and dinner was delicious. Buffet and continental breakfast options with fruits, juice and cheese are available daily at the farm stay. A bar can be found on-site. There was breakfast there in the morning. It was very good. Typical Slovenian breakfast. There was also a restaurant there in the evening so if you didn't want to go out you could eat there.

Several cycling and hiking trails can be found around Arkade Tourist Farm. A grocery shop and a cafe bar can be found within 200 metres. Horseback riding can be enjoyed at a location 10 km away, while the Postojna Cave, home of the endemic olm, is 50 km from Črniče. Nice room (with air conditioning options if you want) in a beautiful building. Very friendly people, and I highly recommend staying for dinner because that was really excellent. The restaurant is open during weekends, but for guests they can cook an excellent meal. We also bought some wine from the farm.

Farm Stay Kranjc lies beneath the Mount Krn, at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level, just beneath Triglav National Park and only 6 km away from the historic town of Kobarid and the Soča River. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking, as well as panoramic views of the Julian Alps. Clean room and bathroom, great hosts!

Location, comfort, host, value all superb. I've stayed at a lot of B&Bs, and this is the first time I've ever rated 10 stars straight across. Can't say enough.
