Despite being the most budget-friendly place we stayed at during our Icelandic adventure, our experience at this guest house was wonderful. The welcoming atmosphere set the tone for our stay. The fully equipped kitchen, stocked with everything you could possibly need, including kitchen weights, was a pleasant surprise. The entire house maintained impeccable cleanliness and was free from any unpleasant odors. Though our room was on the smaller side, it exuded coziness, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. After our muddy hiking adventure in Kerlingarfjöll, Cora kindly provided us with a garden hose and brushes to clean our boots. Set on a traditional Icelandic farm, Setberg Guesthouse is located outside of Höfn, a 14-minute drive from the seaside village centre. The room was cosy and super clean. The living room and kitchen area is well equipped. All amenities are available. The view from the window was amazing. The location is good for aurora watching at night too.
