Vanta un giardino e una terrazza. La Glæsibær 2 Guesthouse and horsefarm si trova ad Akureyri, a 11 km dal Centro Culturale e Conferenze Hof e a 12 km da Pollurinn. This was a lovely guesthouse. The view into the lake and mountains was fantastic. Lovely and shy dog on site. (which we later learnt is a native Iceland sheep dog!) Richard was such a warm and helpful host. Breakfast was great.

The price was unbeatable for the facilities. Location was rural but right off the ring road, had no issues with traveling to or from and plenty of parking. The guesthouse was large, very clean, the owner was very kind. Their house is right next door if you need anything. Beautiful surroundings with some horses and sheep. We hope we can stay again for longer next time!

It is a very convenient location right near the ring road. We stayed in the apartment (not the cottage). The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped. It had a variety of types of silverware including the type you use for special occasions. It was very rainy when we went there and the host was gracious enough to give us a drying rack for our clothes. The views outside were fabulous. The property was very clean. The check-in process was convenient and the instructions provided was very good with details about what to do in that area.

My stay at Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm was an absolute treasure, largely due to the exceptional host, Magnus. The highlight of my time there was undoubtedly Magnus's hot tub, which offered a stunning view of a waterfall. The juxtaposition of the warm water against the backdrop of nature's beauty created an experience that was both relaxing and invigorating. Another standout feature of the farm was the bar overseen by Magnus himself. It was here that I had the pleasure of interacting with Magnus's family, sharing stories and laughter. The welcoming atmosphere prompted Magnus to pick up his guitar, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. The camaraderie and music turned the night into a truly memorable experience. Participating in the Viking Thunder Clap with Magnus's father and the rest of the family was one of the most remarkable moments of my stay. This cultural connection added a layer of authenticity that made me feel like a part of the Icelandic tradition, creating a unique bond that transcended language and nationality. In the grand tapestry of our unforgettable experience at Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm, my daughter's horse riding adventure added a vibrant and colorful thread. The beauty of the landscape, the warmth of the hospitality, the camaraderie of the bar evenings, and the authenticity of the Icelandic traditions all came together to create a stay that exceeded all expectations. If you're seeking a place where both adults and children can create lasting memories, Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm, under the guidance of the remarkable host Magnus, is undoubtedly the place to be. The combination of breathtaking nature, genuine hospitality, and unique cultural experiences truly make this farm stay a treasure trove of unforgettable moments.

Situato a Laugar, a 66 km da Akureyri, l'Öndólfsstaðir Farm B&B offre gratuitamente la connessione WiFi e il parcheggio privato. Le camere sono dotate di bagno privato con vasca o doccia. Loved our 2 night stay at this beautiful farm B&B. Welcomed on arrival (first by the friendly dogs and goats!) and just a perfect hospitable experience from the get go. Loved the coffee/tea/hot chocolate/chai station that was always available and the breakfast was the best we had in Iceland. Fresh fried eggs and omelettes from the hens were delicious (and the waffles - so good!). Also took advantage of the excellent and cheap laundry service (1000isk a load) and packed lunch packs (1000isk per person - a bargain for freshly made sandwiches, skyr, fruit and homemade cookies). It was also a great location for exploring nearby Myvatin. Highly highly recommend staying here!

Very clean location, family run farm with accommodation for tourists. Amazing breakfast. Very friendly people, could arrange a late checkout for us. First time we have seen a dog playing football - we won that game 3-2, but the dog probably let us win… And don’t miss the homemade ice-creams !!

Il Fjalldrapi - Farm stay - Heimagisting offre alloggio a Thingeyjarsveit, a 4 km in direzione ovest dalla cascata Goðafoss e a 40 km di distanza dal lago Mývatn. Beautiful location. Clean & comfortable room. So grateful for a fan in the room to keep us cool! Liked the coffee & tea station
