We (2 adults and 5-yr old child) stayed in the main guesthouse attached to the owner’s house. The accommodations we spacious and clean, with amazing views from all of the bedrooms. The standout of our stay was the wonderful hospitality from Magnus and his family who were always happy to chat about their life on the farm/in Iceland and to accommodate our animal loving son who had a blast interacting with the horses, dogs, kittens, and a very special friendly sheep. We would definitely come back here again and extend our stay in the future. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I don't know where to begin. Hospitality is Abba's middlename. Just meeting her made us immediately feel at home. Two lovely dogs welcomed us as well. Very relaxed atmosphere. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Very good mattress, lots of amenities in the bathroom. All day coffee, tea, cookies, chocolate candies. There is a kitchen where you can warm up your food or even prepare dinner. Different kind of oils (avocado, garlic) were available. Also free laundry service.
Regarding breakfast we were so much impressed that Abba went into trouble to make vegan waffles and orange/chocolate cake for us. Also a very tasty rice with peas for us. There were also juice, fruits, various kinds of coffee, salmon, eggs, cheese etc. for omnivores. We loved the different kind of beautiful china we could use. I'm sure I forget something but I think you get the idea.

It was a nice farm stay. It was okay for a one night stay. There is a shared kitchen, two shared bathrooms, a well equipped library and a massage chair hah! The kitchen is well equipped and a little breakfast (such as yogurt and museli) is offered. We felt like at our grandmas house which was very cute! The host was helpful and overall the stay was decent.
Ari and Freydis were so warm and welcoming and easy to get in touch with. We arrived in the middle of a snow storm and they had plowed everything for us. The dogs are amazing and friendly (but they will keep them inside if you don’t like or want to be around dogs). The cabin was cute and homey and was everything we had wanted in farm stay cabin guesthouse. We saw the northern lights here and could see them from inside the cabin.
very cozy farm house, best experience and people was very sweet and helping.
The unit we occupied was between two others. So, a little like a motel, but with a lovely rural atmosphere. Lovely little table set on the deck which overlooked the pastures. At the corner of the building was a hot tub which the owner filled upon arrival with geothermal water, which was then emptied after we'd gone to bed. Loved the hot tub and was one of the warmest we used while in Iceland. Owners were friendly and nice, and lovely farm with everything you'd expect on a farm.
A traditional Icelandic farmhouse with room for a large family and toys for kids.
A very special stay indeed. According to our host's email, the guesthouse has been in the family for three generations (it's an old farmhouse built by the owner's grandfather, and rebuilt to meet the expectations of a guesthouse). The rooms are comfortable, clean and well kept. Highly recommended!
The rooms were located on the ground floor of a farmhouse in a remote area (although the Godafoss waterfall was 5 minutes by drive). The owner, Stefan, was very nice and explained us everything. There was a microwave, fridge, coffee machine and plenty of dishes to use, as well as a big table where you could eat simple meals. The bathroom was big with a drying rack (which was convenient after going to the Thermal baths).
A rustic stay in a remote farmhouse in a very scenic area. Treated to the sight of a round-up of a large herd of Icelandic ponies and an excellent night's sleep in this very peaceful and elegantly furnished guesthouse.
This is a lovely and welcoming farmhouse in a lovely rural area of Iceland. Great location - lots to do and see in the area, and the stay was very comfortable
