Álftröð is 5 km from Brautarholt, a 30-minute drive to Geysir and Gullfoss Waterfall and a 40-minute drive to the Þingvellir National Park. Excellent breakfast, location and overall lovely guesthouse, our host was also very friendly, this was our favorite accommodation throughout our 10 day trip in Iceland!

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. It's a very cool place with the possibility to look at cute cows while they eat (while you eat :)). very comfortable beds, warm rooms, restaurant and ice cream shop in house.
