The hostess Ute was extremely friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home from the first moment, she was also great with the kids. The animals in the farm are super friendly and the kids could really interact with all of them. The proximity to nature and the whole environment make this a very special and unique experience. Loved the quad ride and the horseback riding. It is not a fancy stay, it is a comfortable stay in a beautiful environment. We will definitely be back for more.

Set on a working farm in Kelberg, Bauernhof Marx offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi. Shetland pony riding is possible on site and free for children up to 10 years. Me, my wife and my 3 small children had an excellent stay here. House was big, clean and has all one needs. The crown jewel is the daily pony riding with the 3 ponies that live there..kids absolutely loved that. All amenities including supermarket, bank, bakeries and restaurants all 5 mons walk away. Marx family also were great hosts. Highly recommended for a family trip.

Wine from the owners vineyard is delicious. there is also a possibility to order fresh bread for breakfast. we can’t wait to come back.
