We really loved this palace-like house located in the centre of the village right next to the church. We stayed at many amazing places during our two-weeks journey through Northern Portugal - This was clearly one of the best. At the time we stayed in Soajo the property was managed by a very nice and assertive old lady living next door. She spoke well English and gave us many tips about the village and surroundings. The room had a beautiful view over the village and was very comfortable. For breakfast we went to the nearby bakery. The people in Soajo were so welcoming that we after in total three nights felt like being part of the village. We were lucky and had the chance to celebrate mid-summer with the locals. Soajo is the ideal base for mountain walks in the National Park. We can only recommend this amazing guest house.

The house was well prepared, clean, they left a welcome tray with all the regional products. We had that for all week. They where very generous was a very good welcome. Stayed for 3 nights, wish it was longer! Beautifully restored home with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including a recently installed outdoor pool. The village was quaint and perfect for a relaxing get away. The surrounding areas were breathtaking. The hosts were wonderful. Highly recommend!

The whole place was just fantastic. The family who run the hotel were so hospitable and absolutely wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. The property is well cared for and Immaculately clean and tidy. such a lovely and comfortable stay. we had a problem with our booking on arrival due to a mix up with booking.com not adding the additional person and the Manager Jose handled it very well and very professionally.

No expense has been spared - great kitchen and bathrooms - all beautiful. The location is perfect for walking to the village for sightseeing and restaurants and bars. We did the short local walk - more challenging than we expected but well worth it ! Also visited. Local area by car. Diane provided amazing breakfast food - so much we had to ask her to stop after 3 days! The local bread delivery every morning was super!

Having a breakfast sitting under a big tree looking to the garden and valley downstairs is unforgettable. Or lemon tree behind the window from bedroom. Kitchen is fully quipped. And welcome honey and nut cake from our host was very delicious
