The staff was super friendly and always available to help. The pool was lovely. There were enough sunbeds and parasols for everyone. You could order a fresh drink or snack to have at the pool. The staff made a reservation for us at the nearby restaurant. The breakfast was amazing, great bread, some patisserie, lovely yoghurt and granola, fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, ham, fresh coffee, fresh orange juice etc... There was also an honesty bar with some board games. The room was clean with a good shower.

It’s a paradise! I would say that it’s one of the best experiences during our traveling. It’s beautiful, calm, clean and so cozy. We stoked the fireplace everyday and enjoyed our vacation. Also, I want to highlight the high level of service! They proposed a check in any time because house was already free, they cleaned room everyday (!) when we were outside. Breakfast is really good!

The place is nestled deep in the mountains, it made our stay in Madeira very special and completely different from the last two days in Funchal. the setting is paradisiac, with a stream running right below the cosy little house. The hosts, Comandante Carlos and his wife Eleonora are amazingly sweet and welcoming, they care for everything and prepare a great homely breakfast with fresh local produce. It was an unforgettable stay!
