Located in Camacha, in a historic building, 10 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta da Moscadinha is a farm stay with a garden and bar. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service.

The place is impeccable and has a great vibe! Everything was perfect, the breakfast was so tasty and the bed was actually more comfortable than the one i have at home (which is a first for me)

Presenting a rustic style, materials as basalt stone and wood are combined in harmony with a fireplace in the living room. A flat-screen cable TV is included. There is a double room and a modern bathroom featuring a walk-in shower.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is perfect, so beautiful and quiet, but still easily accessible to reach Funchal. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The house was well equipped and had everything you could need.

Moinho do Comandante is located in São Roque, in Madeira. The unit is in a naturally green property, which features a spring of drinkable water.

Homes at the Comandante’s come with a seating area. There is a full kitchen with an oven and kitchenware. Featuring a bath, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and a bidet. Lake and mountain views may be enjoyed from one of the units.

The location was very fantastic, but we think it requires a car. You are a part of nature. Surrounded by plants and flowers and a river. A bit like in the jungle. We are not usually into breakfast, but Carlos's breakfast was fabulous. We loved sitting in his kitchen and eating delicacies and hearing stories. His scrambled eggs were the best ever. Carlos an Leonor were very attentive to what you liked and there was always something new every day. Everything is not perfect, but it becomes when you have met Carlos and Elonor. They are so lovely people and they will do everything to make you feel good and at home. Thanks for making our visit so special :)

Nice little farm house. a wonderful view of the mountains and a piece of Jurassic forest. the hosts are friendly. Convenient location for hiking. Near the bus stop. On Sunday, you should visit the local market. It was convenient to receive fresh bread from the hosts in the morning. Beautiful sheep, goats, peacocks, horses, ducks, chickens and rabbits are well cared for on the farm.

A nice quaint charming farmhouse and you are really away from the bustling activities. Breakfast is given to you each day according to your needs. The linens and bedsheets are changed every now and then during our one week stay, this is excellent, some hotels don't even do it now.
