Amazing views and very friendly owner

Stayed for 3 nights, wish it was longer! Beautifully restored home with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including a recently installed outdoor pool. The village was quaint and perfect for a relaxing get away. The surrounding areas were breathtaking. The hosts were wonderful. Highly recommend!

First of all: Elizabeth and Pedro are lovely people who make you feel part of the family. The Quinta is a peaceful place, good to relax, and to enjoy a book. We really enjoyed sharing the table for dinner and breakfast with other guests and also Elizabeth, Pedro and their daughters, Olga and Marta. One evening we were really impressed by Mozart on a piano; we thought it was a CD but then learned it was Olga playing there. Impressive. Bravo! Also, the Quinta is not far from Arcos de Valdevez city center. And if you want to visit/travel around, talk to Pedro; he will give you detailed directions, send you links to Google Maps and also print map details. I and Margarida loved the family. And lets not forget: Leve, their lovely dog.

The pictures dont show the house’s real value! So cosy, rooms were great, everything was perfect. The owner of the house was very nice and thoughtful. My whole family was so sad to leave, we loved every minute of being here. The area was amazing, there were so many animals walking outside the rental area, such as cows and sheep and cats and dogs etc. Really rural and makes the visit even more beautiful. Nearby are many sightseeing places such as Geres de Paneda, Bom Jesus etc. The pool was great, great place to sunbathe and just enjoy being on the countryside. I 100% recommend this place!

The house was well prepared, clean, they left a welcome tray with all the regional products. We had that for all week. They where very generous was a very good welcome. Maria do Céu knows how to received people at her place, I wish all the rental places will be like that, makes your holiday perfect. Thank you

We really loved this palace-like house located in the centre of the village right next to the church. We stayed at many amazing places during our two-weeks journey through Northern Portugal - This was clearly one of the best. At the time we stayed in Soajo the property was managed by a very nice and assertive old lady living next door. She spoke well English and gave us many tips about the village and surroundings. The room had a beautiful view over the village and was very comfortable. For breakfast we went to the nearby bakery. The people in Soajo were so welcoming that we after in total three nights felt like being part of the village. We were lucky and had the chance to celebrate mid-summer with the locals. Soajo is the ideal base for mountain walks in the National Park. We can only recommend this amazing guest house.

we liked everything about the property. it is spotless, private, comfortable and peaceful. We had everything we needed in the gite. Towels were provided for the pool. The bbq area is perfect. We were unlucky that we didn’t have better weather. Our host Manuel went out of his way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The fresh rolls in the morning were very welcome and a nice touch. We would highly recommend the property if you are looking for peace, quiet and relaxation in the country.
