I am from Australia and on my first visit to Italy in 2017, I and my husband stayed at II Castagneto. On our second visit to Italy, we made sure we stayed again. My first comment to my husband when we arrived was "it is like coming home". Julia is an exceptional host. The accommodation is absolutely clean and comfortable. Julia's home-baked goods and home-made jams send my husband into an eating frenzy they are so good. The views and environment provide you with an understanding of the beauty of the area and agriculture in Italy. On our next visit which will be to see south of Rome, we will take the time out of the journey to travel north and spend time at our adopted "Italian Home".

We have not experienced such hospitality so far in our travel life. Our daughter enjoyed the time with all the animals on the farm, and instantaneously fell in love with the two lovely dogs Dante and Jo Jo. We definitely recommend this accommodation and want to return in the future.
