Masseria Vignenove was a delight. Set in extremely peaceful surroundings, the property and grounds were very well kept. It’s a small place with only about 6 rooms which was a plus for us! The pool area was immaculate and a great spot to watch the sunset over the fields. Breakfast was a selection of fruit, yoghurt, cakes and cereal with Fabrizio sometimes offering eggs or ham and cheese toasted sandwiches. The room was large, cool, well furnished, clean and modern. Uggiano, the closest town, is a 15-30 minute walk to restaurants and grocery stores. Fabrizio, the host recommends several great options for food. We tried Skafe for pizza which was tasty; Matisse, which was our favourite (romantic setting with well-priced fine dining); Agrodolce, another great spot (cheap, rustic food in a garden setting); and Mulino a Vento which was nice, but not amazing and the most expensive of the four. Go for the setting which is lovely, but don’t expect to be wowed by the food. I will say that Fabrizio did not include this one on his list (maybe with good reason). We totally recommend going to Porto Badisco and sitting at the Skafe location there which is set on the rocky headland overlooking the water. The beach is also good with an excellent restaurant serving simple but delicious food. We also recommend a trip to Otranto and the beaches beyond. Otranto is a fab seaside town with some nice beaches and a lovely old town to wander around in - find a restaurant away from the water as they’re cheaper and better! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing time in Fabrizio’s neck of the woods and would highly recommend.

The absolute best thing of Villa Casale is the pool! It is magic, so beautiful and always very clean. We also really appreciated the calm of the place as there are few rooms so we basically had the pool for ourselves most of the time! We loved the place that is a little oasis in Puglia. I would definitely come back to this fantastic place :)

Our stay in Masseria Autigne is one of the highlights of our Puglia trip. The place is absolutely gorgeous and decorated splendidly. It is evident that great care was put into the masseria as seen in the small design details. The location is fantastic as it is situated amongst serene farmland and yet it is a short drive to the busy downtown. We stayed here for five days and we felt that we could have stayed longer as it is a perfect base to explore nearby towns and beaches. What made our stay extra special is how Daniele, the owner, took great care of us. He went out of the way to make dinner arrangements, provided local recommendations, and made us feel at home. We are already making plans to come back.

Beautiful property! The animals were a fun addition to the stay! The apartments were cute and comfortable. Nice privacy between the separate apartments. The included breakfast was fairly varied. Peaceful and quiet stay! Felt like a nice little cottage vacation! Property was well kept and welcoming. Parking was easy!
