Despite the weather, the warm welcome was a ray of sunshine. My evening dining experience was nothing short of very enjoyable, a truly delightful local pasta cooked by the host Biagio. Very welcoming and a great location to discover the immediate local interest. Being between Etna and Taormina make Alcantara a great place to stay.

Fondo Cipolatte was our best accommodation in Sicily. Beautifully located in the valley, very lovingly furnished, everything clean, and a great breakfast. We had a really nice stay there. We would like to express a huge thanks to Elena and Gabriella, who helped and supported us incredibly well in an emergency situation. This definitely went beyond normal service. We felt very comfortable with you. Thank you so, so much!

Casa Arrigo is a lovey complex of rooms and suites with beautiful courtyard/patio areas, communal pool, garden and loungers. The modern dining area used for breakfast and wine tastings has been beautifully positioned to maximise the stunning views of Etna across the Villa Neri vineyards. Breakfast was good. This was a wonderful quiet, comfortable and relaxing place to stay after being in some of the busier parts of the island and great for accessing the less busy Etna Nord circuit.
