Oasi Del Fiumefreddo is really an oasis. We have spent 1 week in the apartment with Terrace (apt.1) and it is wonderful. situated on the upper floor, with views from every window. From the master bedroom you see seaside, from small bedroom and kitchen - Taormina and the Castelmola, and from the entrance door - the endless orange trees and magnificent Etna. The terrace was nice, however the big tree closes the view to Etna, but you can see it every time you open your door :) Rooms are spacious and probably more then 3 meters height, air conditioner in every room, including kitchen - where you have everything you might need. nice bathroom. For the water - you might need to wait 1-2 minutes to get it hot, but it is plenty and hot :) There like 5 apartments overall, and it is very silent there - nature at its best. around the place there is kids playground with trampoline and a lot of space for the kids to enjoy. Also there is a garden with strawberries and vegetables, like broccoli, fenchel, beans, potatos. And of course an endless mandarine/orange/lemon gardens. Of course being in the middle of greenery reservation - you absolutely need a car, as i have not seen public transport. there is a nice and veeery long beach few minutes by car, with a lots of parking places, which are paid only during summer months. You can walk to the beach 15 minutes, but the road does not have any sidewalk, so you have to watch out the cars while walking. It is a great base to see Etna (50 minutes drive to Refugio la Sapienza), Taormina - 35 minutes, Catania is 40-50 minutes away by car. The highway is 5 minutes by car, and then you can drive all the coast pretty fast (and cheap, 1.20 to Catania, 0.80 to Taormina, this is the most i we paid, as the Catania to Syracuse is free). Overall, if we could give more then 10 mark, we would definitely do, as Luigia (the mother) and Nunzia (the daughter) are great hosts, making you feel really at home. Grazie mille!

Fantastiöised tüdrukud kes igal sammul olid abiks. Ülimalt puhas, mugavad voodid, ülimalt hea hommikusöök - värsked mahlad, küpsetised, väga hea cappucino ja tiramisu. Basseini ääres kokteilid, täiuslik puhkus. Kassid olid armsad.

Salvo and his wife are adorable hosts, we could really feel that it was important for them to make us happy. The place is amazing, a wonderful estate where you can rest amidst orange and citrus groves, olive trees and vines. It is very well located between the Etna and Taormine. The little houses are very cute but well equiped, retro-syle but confortable. We occupied Arance for 4 and Clementine 2 for 3 with its lovely terrace with a view. The pool is small but nice in a very pleasant garden. Salvo brought us croissants every morning and gave us a bottle of his wine, he was full of attentions.

Everything was perfect! Very welcoming stuff - Francesca gets in touch with you before arrival with detailed guidance how to find the place. Perfect English. She also recommend local restaurants for dinners and reserved tables for us. Breakfast was outstanding - highly recommend. You can collect oranges and lemons in the gardens with your kid and make the fresh juice at breakfast (oranges are there anyways for your juice… but it was nice to collect the fruits with our daughter first). Rooms are spacious. Water pressure in shower was amazing. And locally made rosemary soap was a nice touch. Highly recommend and want to come back again. Best spot to take trip to Etna - you overlook the mountain from the terrace
