You definitely need a car to get here as the farm is located 2 hrs from the Rome airport (FCO), 1 hr from Florence and Siena, 1hr 40 min from San Gimignano, 20 min from Montepulciano. We stayed in a villa (2 bedroom, 1.5 baths and kitchen) for 8 nights at the beginning of September. We had a nice patio with a table, chairs and an umbrella where we had our breakfast every morning. Beds were hard (we liked that). Pools and a lake are located away from the house with apartments and the villa (need to walk ~7-10 min by the area where animals, such as pigs, sheep, and chickens, live). Only hand soap is provided, so on the way from the airport we got paper towels, shampoo and body wash as well as some food. The supermarket is only 10 min drive from the farm. If you need an iron, request it in advance. The farm has a lot of fruit trees (cherry plum, figs, pomegranate) that we picked from. We did a private wine and cured meat tasting and it was amazing thanks to Simi who was taking care of us during our stay. If you are not afraid of insects (there are a lot of them as well as scorpios) and the farm life (think of animal noises when you wake up), want to be closer to the nature and experience the freshest air and beautiful views, I highly recommend you stay here.

The property is very close to Chiusi, a small town with a nice center and good restaurants, walking distance. The house’s owner is very flexible with the breakfast which is rich and diverse. Signora Paola, the owner, is such a nice person, always smiling and kind.

A location in the middle of nature where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Tuscany. The host, Renato, was very friendly, he gave us advices on places to visit and local restaurants.

O Agriturismo Sovana é realmente um lugar especial. Quarto confortável, vista privelegiada e um restaurante que surpreendeu nos jantares, desde a apresentação, quanto qualidade dos pratos, com uma sequência de quatro etapas deliciosas. O vinho Le Buche acompanha maravilhosamente os pratos. Tivemos a sorte de provar uma bisteca fiorentina servida pelo próprio dono que estava no ponto perfeito. Todos os funcionarios foram muito simpáticos O hotel fica próximo de várias cidades que merecem ser visitadas, desde as mais óbvias, como Montepulciano, até agradáveis surpresas com San Quirico e Cetona. Foi tudo ótimo.

Excellent surprise!! I did book this agriturismo thinking of a small stop on my way to Rome and wanting to enjoy a pool. But this was beyond my expectations! Apartment spacious, very clean and fresh. Location of the apartment at first sight was a bit odd as you had to climb two stories to get there, but fully private it actually allowed us to keep a private environment. Kitchen well equipped, very easy to get down and enjoy your meal in the garden just in front of apartment. And the garden was amazing, just as you'd expect a view of Tuscany, with cyprès, and the whole postcard. Swimming pool was also great. Big enough. Not too many apartments allowing you not to be many in it at the same time. Contact with owners was great and very friendly. Helped us as well to find nearby supermarket. And cerise-sur-le-gâteau, price was very very good! We'll come back if it is on our road again, that is for sure!! Thank you Samira!!

Location in beautiful Tuscany vinyard with a local fox visitor nightly. The rooms were well air conditioned. The pool was amazing with friendly guests. The dinners were 5 star and the chef was incredible.
