Featuring a sauna and garden with BBQ facilities, Corte Galvana is located in the Emilia Romagna countryside, 7 km from Cento. Cereals and vegetables are produced on site.

With garden views, all the rustic-style rooms come with a flat-screen TV, minibar and fan. The private bathroom includes a spa bath.

Interesting "agriturismo" concept, it's a working farm/vineyard with accommodation - you can try their own wine. Swimming pool most welcome and there is a poolside bar although it does close earlier than you might like. You will require a car to get here and get around. Short drive to Cento and other towns, there is Interspar and Lidl on the way. Staff have limited English but more than our Italian. Our room slept 3, had a little kitchenette in which cooking a basic meal would be possible, we only used the moka espresso maker. Bathroom is decent.

The location was a 10 minute walk from the bus station and downtown Cento, yet located in a quiet neighborhood bordering on farmland. There were 3 groceries and a cafe around the corner. I liked having a full kitchen. The hostess Angela could not have been more welcoming and helpful. She speaks some English, and checked frequently to see if I needed anything.

Monteborre was beyond what we could have imagined. Beautiful space that mixes the character of historic space with the best of modern amenities. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in Europe- homemade cakes and breads, eggs, cured meats, fruit from the farm. Alessandro’s hospitality was exceptional. From helping us to find parking at our destinations to bringing out spritzes by the pool on a Friday evening… this was truly a memorable experience. What a gem!

A real agriturismo: we were kindly received when checking in and were even given a different (better) room. Parking on the terrain of the location.
