Hosts are incredible! If you want a truly traditional Sicilian meal, stay for their full dinners and light dinners. Everything they cook with is truly local! Location is wonderful. Our favourite was walking along the gravel road and meeting all the other small farmers along their road. Skip touristy cefalu and ask host Maria for her recommendations on day trips. She knows what she is talking about! We had an amazing day trip following her recommendations to petrolia soprana. Rooms are gorgeous and clean! They even put fresh jasmine flowers on your bed + linens. There is not a single detail missing. When you step outside your room you are surrounded by olives, figs, prickly pears and the most aromatic herb garden.

This is a real hidden gem. A resort that really care about the environment and the guests. If you are tired about endless capital cities without soul and culture and you would like to see the real Sicily, this is the place for you! The scenery is fantastic with an olive tree garden just behind the resort, genuine Sicilian hospitalty and a big parking. I was there on a business trip (truck driver) from Sweden and they took fantastic care care of me.

The location was excellent, very beautiful view . The most I like was in the evening enjoying the BBQ and see the sunset nature and the sea .

A place I feel at home. I cannot wait to go back If you are looking for a place to stay on the north coast of Sicily, Il Casale Il sole e la margherita is the perfect spot. Not too far from Palermo and perfectly located to visit all corners of Sicily, it is an amazing location for a relaxing holiday. Just a short drive from the beach in the middle of the countryside, it has the peace of a quiet retreat while just a few minutes’ drive from all you can need. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for relaxation . The views are breath-taking, and the host cannot do enough to ensure your comfort. I stayed with my two teens, and they loved the pool and the Wi-Fi!! I grew up in the capital, Palermo, and whenever I return, I need to feel at home. Il Casale with it’s charming structure, the cotto tiled flooring and the antique furniture brings me back to my childhood of a Sicilian summer and I feel at home. There are plenty of food suppliers (bakers, butchers and fruit stores) including a very well stocked supermarket just a few minutes’ drive away. As the area is popular for local residents’ holidays homes, the restaurants and food suppliers are of the high standard that the locals would expect and the prices are good too. There is so much to do and see in the area or just relax in the shade of the orange trees by the pool at al Casale. I cannot wait to go back!

it's a farm house off the beaten path. you are greeted by a friendly dog that demands a belly rub. only 20 min from the main road, but you may be stopped by cattle of the way. beautiful views from the hill, waking up to cowbells. it's magical and slow paced here. Mateo pays attention to all the details and Antonella cooks up a typical Italian secret menu at night. we ate two full menus for 4 people and we were full. it's an intimate, family setting. my father asked if he can have fresh milk from the cow's we met on the road. Antonella called her husband to danger us some from the 8 pm milking. my dad is 77, it took him back to his childhood holidays.

Perfect private acomodation with all we need. We had all 4 apartments and it was perfect Family trip for us. Great views nice Green sorounding. We loved our stay. Even the roads are close it not disturb. Fabulous for that price. We would love to come back anytime.

Mirna lokacija,predivna priroda. Doručak odličan ,večera odlična. Osoblje pristojno ,simpatično Bazen voda vrlo ugodna ,osvjezavajuča Ima mali parkić ako putujete s djecom. Cesta prema hotelu je u dobrom stanju ,lako za voziti ,ipak je to cesta za u brda sve u svemu dobra cesta ,nikakav problem .ne razumijem zašto ljudi pišu da je jako teško doći do hotela ?!

Exactly what we wanted - a beautiful quiet place, a lovery old farmhouse, well-run by friendly, welcoming people. The onsite manager, Giuseppe, is amazing: he works all hours and has everything running perfectly, yet took time to chat with us in our very limited Italian for a few minutes each day.
