Beautiful place, wonderful hosts, situated right between Cefalu and Palermo - we stayed two nights and had a lovely experience! Really warm welcome on arrival with snacks and drinks, and really enjoyed the breakfast. The full dinner is served on Wednesdays and Saturdays which we weren’t there for, but Maria made us a more casual meal of pasta and wine one night which was great.

A place I feel at home. I cannot wait to go back If you are looking for a place to stay on the north coast of Sicily, Il Casale Il sole e la margherita is the perfect spot. Not too far from Palermo and perfectly located to visit all corners of Sicily, it is an amazing location for a relaxing holiday. Just a short drive from the beach in the middle of the countryside, it has the peace of a quiet retreat while just a few minutes’ drive from all you can need. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for relaxation . The views are breath-taking, and the host cannot do enough to ensure your comfort. I stayed with my two teens, and they loved the pool and the Wi-Fi!! I grew up in the capital, Palermo, and whenever I return, I need to feel at home. Il Casale with it’s charming structure, the cotto tiled flooring and the antique furniture brings me back to my childhood of a Sicilian summer and I feel at home. There are plenty of food suppliers (bakers, butchers and fruit stores) including a very well stocked supermarket just a few minutes’ drive away. As the area is popular for local residents’ holidays homes, the restaurants and food suppliers are of the high standard that the locals would expect and the prices are good too. There is so much to do and see in the area or just relax in the shade of the orange trees by the pool at al Casale. I cannot wait to go back!

La Case Tabarani està situada en un entorn privilegiat, amb vistes a les muntanyes nevades del parc de la Madonie i també el mar. De nit, pel camí vam veure un Istrice, el porc espí africà, que és comú a Itàlia. I al parc natural de la Madonie també algun cèrvol, a més de neu (febrer). Cal portar cadenes si es vol pujar gaire amunt. L'anfitrió va ser molt amable en tot moment. L'esmorzar molt complert i el sopar, un dels millors que hem fet a Sicília. La casa és una antiga explotació agrària, amb uns trulls d'oli antics al menjador i l'habitació es trobava al damunt i s'hi excedeix per una escala exterior. L'habitació és confortable.

Perfect private acomodation with all we need. We had all 4 apartments and it was perfect Family trip for us. Great views nice Green sorounding. We loved our stay. Even the roads are close it not disturb. Fabulous for that price. We would love to come back anytime.

The hospitality shown from the wonderful family that run the business could not have been nicer. From the delicious dinner from their own produce, to the delicious heartwarming breakfast... and I could not forget their family dog Willy!! Who was ready to play, so friendly.... The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and heavenly, breathtaking views of both mountains and sea. I hope to bring my children here soon..

Exactly what we wanted - a beautiful quiet place, a lovery old farmhouse, well-run by friendly, welcoming people. The onsite manager, Giuseppe, is amazing: he works all hours and has everything running perfectly, yet took time to chat with us in our very limited Italian for a few minutes each day.

It was close to a small and peaceful village and not too far away from a nice beach. It was also not too far from Cefalu
