Situated in upper midtown Manhattan, 483 metres from the Central Park, the Whitby Hotel is a short distance away from stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman. My daughter and I are great admirers of Kit Kemps incredible designs so it was lovely to enjoy this luxurious hotel and admire her work. The restaurant was very buzzy and popular with a sophisticated crowd and the food was lovely.

Overall we had a great time staying here for our 4-day trip in New York. The location of the hotel is very strategic, it's very near to subway stations and many attractions are just within walking distance. The front desk service was superb, everyone was very friendly and eager to help. We would like to specially thank our front desk Khaoula for allowing us to check in early. We were very tired when we reached the hotel in the morning after a long flight from San Francisco and her kind gesture had left us a good first impression of the hotel. We will definitely stay here again if we visit New York.

First of all, the room was just like in the photos, with a nice view. All the employees in the hotel were really nice and helpful. Hotel is located in a very central location so you have everything you need to (walking distance). Breakfast was really nice and versatile. The bed is really comfortable and we felt really safe and cozy . I have to pay the compliments to the staff and their communication skills. If we had any doubts or problems, they were really helpful and patient. Also whenever we ran out of the tea or coffee, it was refilled daily. Rooms were very clean. I would definitely return to this hotel.
