A really good 3-star hotel. The check-in went easy. We also speak Mandarin, but the reception spoke good English. The rooms were good, and the shower size was comfortable. It was easy to find some breakfast opportunities around. Close by, you can find YouBike(2) rental bikes. Also without biking, it is easy to discover the city by walking around. For us it was also no issue to walk to the famous Formosa MRT-station. You must have a bit of patience to enjoy the light show there. We recommend the hotel.

Kingship Hotel Kaohsiung Inter Continental har inredning inspirerad av Europa och erbjuder ett businesscenter och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Great value and location, cool artworks on display on each level too. Breakfast was vegetarian-focussed but very varied and tasty.

Kaohsiung Chateau de Chine Hotel erbjuder moderna rum med gratis Wi-Fi och platt-TV med kabelkanaler. Very nice place to stay. There is a level where family can gather to have free flow of coffee and tea as well as some cookies. The bed is big and nice to sleep. However as we stay over the weekend there isn't much shops open around the area. But since it is near mrt we can travel to other places
