Situé dans le centre d'Istanbul, l'Union Hotel Port se trouve à 800 mètres de la station de métro Taksim et à 700 mètres de la place Taksim. The hotel is located just 2 mins walk from the Findikli tram station. The tram also takes you to many other tourist sights like Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia and etc. There is also a stop at the Karakoy or Eminonu ferry station. For anyone who loves walking, this hotel is approximately 15 mins walk to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street but be ready to endure the steep slope. Alternatively, you can take the tram to Kabatas (1 stop) and the Funikuller train to Taksim. We enjoyed our stay there, the hotel staff made us feel like home during the time we were there. Celal the Hotel Manager knows so much about the city and helped us plan some of our trips. Not forgetting his team who were helpful, friendly and always ready to attend to our needs.

We booked this hotel based on the huge amount of positive reviews but I will admit we were a bit skeptical about believing them. I am so pleased to say this hotel lived up to the hype - an excellent location, a spotless room that was thoroughly cleaned every day and the friendliest and most helpful staff who were available all day every day. Special mention also to the highlight of our trip - Mr Osman, the hotel’s feline Head of Security. We would not hesitate to stay here again next time we visit Istanbul.

Very good newly renovated rooms. Great breakfast. Muzaffer Azhan attended us in the morning and provided us with great service. The location of the Hotel is excellent. Will certainly visit the place again while travelling to Istanbul.

Location is perfect. It is near to Galata tower, tram and bus station. Easy access to most touristic places in Istanbul. Room we had is perfect and big enough for two. Our view is facing the Bosphorus River however it was kind off because there's a building obstructing the view, nevertheless its fine. Service is awesome. From those who serve/assist during breakfast to room service and especially those in Reception. Shout out to Mr Sedar Turan for helping us arranging our transportation going to airport, he really did a nice job.
