It smelled and looked clean! From the towels to the bed sheets, the bathroom was sparkling and showers were clean. This is exactly what I wanted after reading the reviews for other hotels. Luisa the housekeeper was super sweet. She got me out of a bind the day of my event and helped pin my daughters shirt because it fit her too big. She went above and beyond! There were fresh towels everyday. The staff was professional and welcoming. The location was close to everything- just be sure to google map it. There are lots of places to eat close by, I didn't eat at the hotel but, the food smelled delicious! Also felt very safe... You can not access other floors of the hotel. Your floor, the pool and the lobby only. You also need a key card to access your floor. Lots of cameras. That made me feel safe too. Wifi connection was also good.

Very nice view from the restaurant on the 16th floor. The staff so friendly and kind and very supportive to resolve my questions or make suggestions on activities to do in the surrounding area.

Plaza de Oro is a beautiful hotel in Monterrey City Centre that features a large indoor swimming pool, free continental breakfast and an on-site fitness centre. What I am missing is the bar yall use too have in the rooms

The staff was super nice, they were able to give me my room sooner than the check in time. They also can store your luggage for you. The cleaning staff was so kind, every time before breakfast she was asking me if I needed something or if everything was ok (I didn't require cleaning any of the days). The access to the elevator is through a key card so outside people cannot go up and you only have access to your floor and the breakfast floor. The breakfast was also a nice surprise, when I booked it said no breakfast but arriving there you do have it, it's for all guests. The AC was fantastic, the room with a big window and a big table for working. The size of the room was just enough for me, not too small. The room was extremely clean when I arrived, the bathroom as well. I didn't find it very noisy, although you can hear other guests sometimes, people were generally quiet. The breakfast was very simple (not a complaint here since I didn't even have it included in my reservation, so it was indeed a good surprise, just informing). There were fruits (banana and apple), a yogurt and sweet bread. There was also nice, milk and coffee, and I gotta say the coffee was fantastic! Wifi worked well almost all the time. At the end of the afternoon when everyone is using it it can get a bit spotty, but all the rest of the day it is incredibly fast.
