Hotel Avenida is located on Mount Igueldo overlooking San Sebastián. There is a swimming pool in the hotel´s garden and free access to the fitness center. Lovely hotel with lovely facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice in a very bright and lovely setting overlooking the town. Loved the pool.

Located just 820 feet from Ondarreta Beach, Sercotel Codina offers modern air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. All the rooms come with a mini-bar, flat-screen satellite TV and private bathroom. The hotel is nicely located not too far from the beach and very close to the large conference center (Palacio Miramar). The area of the city is more peaceful then old town, but old town is accessible by nice walk at seaside or by bus. The staff of the hotel is helpful and friendly. During my 2 weeks stay I was living in three rooms: single (3rd flor), double (3rd flor) and double superior (7th flor). The last of them was most expensive but certainly worth the money, with large terrace, beautiful view on the sea and the city. Me and my wife were enjoying stay there. The double room was OK, but nothing particular. Clean and correct. The single room at 3rd flor was suffering problems with ventilation and bad smell was coming from the toilet. Anyhow, the hotel was nice and I would recommend it.
