The owner is extremely nice and even greeted us by name when we first arrived. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and the shower is great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stunning hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff and super convenient location for the old town. The room was beautifully decorated and really big, and the breakfast was also great. Can't recommend highly enough!

Casa Hotel Las Plazas asub Quitos, 100 meetri kaugusel Sucre teatrist ja 300 meetri kaugusel koloniaalstiili muuseumist. Tubades on lameekraaniga televiisor. This charming boutique hotel is operated by a very warm and welcoming family who communicated in English as well as Spanish. All staff and family members were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is well located, in the heart of the old town.

Set in a colonial style house built in 1738, La Casona de la Ronda Hotel Boutique Patrimonial offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and plasma Tv in Quito’s historic centre. Breakfast is provided. Exquisite setting inside the hotel, great staff, great location and lovely restaurant en site.

Viietärnihotell Plaza Grande asub Quito keskväljakul Plaza de la Independencia väljakul. A top location that I would strongly recommend for any visit to Quito. As the name will tell, the Plaza Grande Hotel is right on the Plaza Grande, that is a stunning masterpiece at the very heart of the UNESCO Heritage site Quito Central area. I chose this hotel primarily for its location, as I wanted to be right at the main historical and artistic hotspot of town, instead of choosing an anonymous, international-chain structure in the newer part of Quito -- and I did it right. I found an excellent hotel, hosted in an historical and perfectly restored building, with incredible rooms (actually suites), all equipped with jacuzzi and (most of them) with a jaw-dropping view on the square (Plaza Grande). Regardless of what you may read, that particular area of the center, between Plaza Grande, San Francisco, Santo Domingo squares and La Ronda, is extremely safe also in the evening, including late evening: I had a long stroll between 9 and 11 PM, all alone, and it was all very quiet, felt (and was) very safe, on streets and squares surrounded by stunning historical buildings, in perfect conservation status, with smart lighting solutions that gave a fantastically well-lit effect. Ask for a suite with view of the square: if they have it available, they will be happy to give you one (I did, and was given one). Staff incredibly and genuinely helpful, proactive and always at disposal.

We stayed at Illa Experience for our last night in Ecuador and Galapagos. It’s an exceptionally designed small hotel with stunning rooms, interior furnishing and views. We loved our suit and double-shower! We dined at the restaurant which provided exceptional dining experience. Breakfast was also wonderful. Staff and services were exceptional!
