You can reach it simply by walking. My room was very small but perfect for my needs. Also, it can be a plus if the day is very humid and hot and you need to refresh the room very fast! There's a small refrigerator (very useful), a very cozy sofa and a super comfy bed. The staff has been very kind and helpful with me with the late check in/late check out and all my needs! Generally, everything was clean and tidy. The bathroom is very big and clean, with hot water. The terrace is super nice: so relaxing and incredibly silent. I read a book and I felt like I wasn't in the center of Santo Domingo!

Hotel Villa Colonial is located in the heart of Santo Domingo's historic centre, and offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and a charming patio. The air-conditioned rooms include cable TV. When I first saw the rating of the place I was curious as it's so high. Yet after staying I understand why. The staff is phenomenally kind and helpful. They are really great people. Furthermore, the breakfast they served was heavenly. The best hotel breakfast I've had ever!! The location is excellent + fairly safe for Santo Domingo so you can easily roam the Colonial Zone. of the city with plenty of restaurants, things to see/visit and a grocery store nearby.

The breakfast was great, the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was very relaxed. It felt like home the minute we walked into the hotel.

Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. Location was brilliant, staff were exceptionally helpful and the facilities were wonderful, would highly recommend!
