Dating back to the 19th-century, this partially renovated 4-star hotel offers rooms with free WiFi and flat-screen TVs. One of the nicest hotels I've ever been to. Everything was top notch. The room was wonderfully designed and quite cool even though I could not spot a central AC (heatwave). Breakfast that did cost extra 25e was to die for, do not skip it. Just go there if you're staying in Hamburg and have ability to drive around for seeing other places. Elbe river shore was like a 2 km walk away, otherwise it is just a rural small home area.

4.4 km from Volksparkstadion, STAY Boardinghouse Flottbek is located in Hamburg and provides free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. NA for breakfast. Room 4 was roomy and nice. We were given Room 5 for the first two nights. It was less than pleasant. We highly recommend that you do not stay in Room 5. It is crowded and barely functional.. The burners would not turn off so we were not able to cook anything.. They had to replace them so they eventually upgraded us and moved us which showed good concern for the customer. The TV stand was situated at the foot of the bed so we had to move it everytime we walked over to that side. The bed is a double bed. After we moved. we had a very pleasant stay.
