This 4-star hotel is located directly south of Essen city centre. It is 1 underground station from Essen Main Station and 3 stops from the Gruga-Halle exhibition centre. We were there for the Spiel, they let you use the breakfast area later during the day to play your games. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ideally set in the Suedviertel district of Essen, Hauptbahnhof Universitätsklinikum Messe Evonik is situated 700 metres from Essen Central Station, less than 1 km from Philharmonic House Essen and a... The apartment is super clean, all what you need as a family is provided (kooking wears, washing machine dryer....). The landlord is such a nice and cooperative person, he brought some toys and bikes for my kids to enjoy the stay. I can only recommend it and give 10/10 and indeed I will book again for my next visit to Essen.
