The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all major attractions. The interior and design are stunning, showcasing modern and stylish decor. The hotel feels freshly new, and my room was equipped with everything I needed, including a private bathroom, free WiFi, and a minibar. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cologne!

Hotel Marsil är ett designhotell som ligger i hjärtat av Köln, bara 1 km från floden Rhen samt i närheten av konst- och shoppingområdena och det belgiska kvarteret med sina eleganta restauranger. Hotel location is excellent, we easily walked everywhere. It is very central located and in a good part of the city where you can easily find shops and restaurants etc.. public transport is also nearby. The hotel it self was also exceptional, checking in was easy, staff is friendly and everything went well.

The hotel was spotless with gorgeous decor and lovely and helpful staff. The breakfast offered was delicious and the bar downstairs had a great ambiance. The location of the hotel enabled you to access everything you needed on foot or via public transport with ease.

This hotel is located on the River Rhine in Cologne’s historic city centre and features modern design, stylish rooms, free WiFi, and a large rooftop terrace. We loved the room and our great view of the river with the ferris wheel. As our second stay, it was a great place to relax. WiFi was very good for us. Breakfast buffet was very good with gluten free and vegan options for me.

This is a converted historic water tower in the centre of Cologne's Old Town. A most exceptional hotel experience! It’s a stylistic and architectural joy within a former brick water tower. The location was excellent: walking distance to city attractions but tucked in a non-busy area. The spa facilities, breakfast, and rooms are outstanding. The rooftop bar and restaurant offer amazing views of the city and a relaxing and energetic vibe. The staff was amazing, and especially helpful as I, and my family, do not speak German.

This centrally located, 4-star hotel is a 15-minute walk from Cologne’s Old Town and Main Train Station. It offers a restaurant, a spa and modern rooms with satellite TV. Fin innegård. Bekvämma sängar.

PRICE AND VALUE: We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Considering the price, we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of our stay. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a free welcome drink along with some sweets. ROOM: The room felt even more spacious and comfortable than expected, and it was very clean (for reference, my partner's dust allergies didn't flare up once like at previous hotel experiences). The bathroom is big enough and modern. We really enjoyed the ambient lighting in the room. Despite some reviews we've read before our stay, we found that the AC was working fine and made our room cool enough. The windows also cancelled out outside noise well. The pillows were just soft enough to bring us a comfortable rest. Also, you have the option to dismiss housekeeping, in which case you receive vouchers for free drinks at the hotel bar. LOCATION: During our stay, we've seen many different parts of Köln, so we can confidently say that this hotel's location is superb - the Chocolate museum and the Rhine river are right across the road and the Cathedral is only a comfortable walk away. It's also in a close proximity to tram and bus stations, which is very useful. PARKING: Parking is available at the hotel for 20e per day in the hotel's underground garage, which considering the other options in Köln is a middle range price point, but it feels much safer than having it out on the street. It's spacious enough and easy to park. Important to note, we arrived at about 4 pm and finding a parking spot in the garage wasn't hard - but later in the evening, it filled up completely, so you would have to search for other options (there are several in close proximity). You can't reserve a parking spot. We kept the car in there throughout our entire stay, so it didn't really matter, but if you plan on driving around throughout your stay, keep this in mind.
