Welcoming and super helpful. Well decorated. Good selection for breakfast for a small hotel, with some western options available, along with good coffee. Not paper thin walls like many guests houses, so a good night's sleep was had!

Bed was nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful with giving us directions as to where restaurants are and how to get to the popular tourist attractions such as the Old Street or how to get to the high speed train station. She even mentioned how much it would cost when going by taxi so we wouldn't get scammed. Optional breakfast was very cheap and you can eat as much as you need for only 10 rmb.

The hotel is full of old world charm and detail and was a fantastic experience; at the same time it was extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and assisted us with several issues we had navigating transportation as well as payment given we are foreigners and could not use american credit cards. We are from warm-weather climates and were a little nervous if the old structure could warm up enough at night (about 20s Fahrenheit which was cold to us!) but they have heaters and AC going and thick warm blankets. Very cozy! Delicious local wanton restaurant just a few steps away on the main street, where we had a fantastic breakfast.

Huangshan Old Street Xi'an Inn se nachází ve staré ulici Tunxi, pouhých 5 minut chůze od parku Daizhen, a nabízí autentické domácí pokrmy Hui. Ve všech prostorách je zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi. Very helpful owner and staff, driver. Pickup service was prompt and helped us multiple times with driving places. Very clean, lots of extra toiletries. The house was adorable in a great location and very nice. Highly recommend for anyone in tunxi or huangshan area.

Huangshan Old Street Courtyard se nachází na historické ulici Tunxi Ancient Street. Jedná se o starý dům z cihel a dřeva, poklidný únik od shonu měst. I was delighted with my stay. The experience of a hotel is obviously different than staying at this traditional house (e.g. colder, less comfy bed etc.) but this only added to the authentic charm. The position is fantastic, as I had my balcony on the high street. Clean environment. Loved the bed warmer. Communication with the host was superb in helping out with getting around the city. Would recommend to everyone. Great breakfast too.
