what an amazing stay I had, the cabin was filled with so many lovey details. kitchen was fully equiped. everything was very clean. lovely staff at reception and they have a little shop with the essentials. and the best part is the record player in your room….choose a few out of hundreds records at reception and have your own little party. loved it so much, ordered the same record player for at home.

Cute room, river view, comfy beds, and the staff were so warm and welcoming to our children. Terrific dinner restaurant right across the street. Couldn't ask for a better location downtown.

We were in the Timberwind room. It had a queen bed with gorgeous decor and a little sitting room. The owners went out of their way to make it inviting and like we were guests in their home!

The room was ginormous! We had a twin and it had a jacuzzi in the lounge area with the TV and fire. Bathroom was bigger than my kitchen! Beds were comfy, it was peaceful and the grounds were well kept. Breakfast was very good and staffing wise Dave was very helpful including helping my friend get extra blankets in the middle of the night.

Searsport was in close distance to Fort Knox and The Bridge Observatory in Penobscot which we spent the morning exploring. We did not spend much time in Searsport but stayed at the Homeport B& B Inn. This inn was top notch with friendly owners, a delicious satisfying full warm breakfast, and many amenities to make you feel at home. We loved our stay at this charming inn!

Very nice location. Dawn and Cassidy were excellent hosts.
Very nice location. Dawn and Cassidy were excellent hosts. Excellent breakfast. Wifi good, parking good. Some very nice restaurants in nearby Belfast village.
We stayed in the London room (our kids in the Dublin room) - It was nicely decorated respecting the period, however the ensuite bathroom was uncomfortably small (for the big fellow that I am). Room faces the main road, and traffic during the week was quite loud in the morning from around 6.00am. Dawn described the house as work in progress - it's probably a fair description.

It is not a big town. But it is right on the ocean.
It is not a big town. But it is right on the ocean. Beach access is easy. Close proximity to Belfast with its wonderful little shops and reasturants.
Sears Island is a beautiful spot for hiking and bike riding. The café downtown severs breakfast all day and is very good. Blueberry pancakes were full of blueberries. Everything was excellent and service was great.

Up-and-coming New England town that has as of yet escaped the gentrified, touristy and crowded feel of Camden, ME and further south. Nice little downtown with a really neat maritime museum (unassuming from the road but is actually a whole campus!) where my husband and I were elbow-deep in the exhibits for about 5 hours. The museum is staffed by volunteers who are proud to share the port’s shipbuilding and seafaring heritage, or just chat about the area in general. Beautiful homes, some quaint and others (old captain’s homes) grand estates. Also a candy shop where the staff reportedly dresses up like they’re in Alison in Wonderland (so we hear - unfortunately they’re open Fri. - Mon. & we were there Tue. - Thu.). Within easy striking distance of Sandy Point Beach to the north as well as the artsy port town of Belfast for more restaurants and a nice coastal walk/rail trail. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Searsport is a quaint town in New England with plenty to offer in terms of relaxation, shopping and entertainment. It is a short drive to Belfast and is much quieter for a place to stay while visiting other nearby towns. The Homeport Inn and Colonial Gables cottages offer great accommodations for all size parties.

Spent the bulk of our time in Belfast, my lady and I were up for the annual Arts in the Park but our overnight stay at The Historic Homeport Inn was phenomenal as usual and we dined at our go-to restaurant in Searsport Angler's . Great weekend !
The Yardarm is located central to all of the places that I wanted to visit. The grounds are beautiful and Rick, the owner was right there whenever I needed anything. I would highly recommend the Angler restaurant which is 5 minutes from the hotel.
The high point for me regarding the hotel was the breakfast room. Absolutely beautiful and the baked goods were as good as it gets!
It’s so hard post-COVID to find great pet friendly independent-owned motels and this place is just that! Conveniently located, cozy vibes, good coffee and pastry for breakfast, kind and flexible owners, very reasonable prices, no pet fee, excellent water pressure in the shower! Thank you for a great experience for my family and me.
We were traveling by bicycle and the owners let us store our bicycles in a spare room. The hotel is old but the rooms have been beautifully restored and are very comfortable. There are chairs on the porch to sit and watch the light and the road. Breakfast is provided in a separate room in the main house.
Great little space with plenty of grass to get the dog some exercise. We checked in and drove into Belfast for dinner on the water and drinks. Came back to the hotel and relaxed. All very easy to do.
