Our visit to Los Angles was great. We stayed in the Marina Del Rey area and were within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. What i like about the city the most is that there are endless things to do. What i didn't like about the area was the parking. The parking is very expensive and finding free parking to anything is impossible. Also, while traveling through out the city, the traffic is horrible, no matter the time of day. We enjoyed it but crammed a lot into a few days. I Would recommend staying a week if you are trying to see/do a lot in your time here. Or planning to do tours or tapings of tv shows. As those take up a lot of your day. I would recommend the WB studio tour plus if you are a fan of Friends or The Big Bang Theory. The Chinese Theater is neat with all the foot and hand prints of different stars. Recommend Lake Hollywood Park for your Hollywood sign pictures. I found LA to be rather bedraggled, dirty and worn. 1 day & night would have sufficed rather than 2 nights - our 2 night stay included a 5.5 hour driven tour of the high spots
