There was no breakfast, didn't expect one. I had a service dog and booking was told this up front. The other person who traveled with me also had a dog. The motel owner went to my friend to collect $10.00 per night to cover my dog. I wouldn't have minded paying but they should have come to me.

Staying in Dixon which is only 10 minutes for Davis was great as one gets a lot more for the money in accommodations. If you like Italian as well as Pizza- check out Marys Pizza Shack but be sure to ask about the crust if you order a pizza as they do not list the types but have different ones.

Dixon is a small town, but very convenient to get in and out...
Dixon is a small town, but very convenient to get in and out of Sacramento and Davis and over to Napa and such. You can fly into Sacramento (nice airport), and find a place to stay. There isn't a whole lot going on in the town, but you will find shopping (e.g. Walmart), restaurants, and so on. I even found a nice running route (by a creek and away from cars) not too far away.

Dixon is just far enough away from Sacramento and Davis to be more affordable. I was able to find a grocery store nearby with reasonable prices, and Dixon itself is a quiet town. There are a lot of options for food and shopping downtown Dixon, but it is also close to the Vacaville Outlets and UC Davis.BarbaraUnited States
