The Lake Village Lodge is small, clean and cute. It’s an old-style motel that has been updated with cabin decor. Right off the highway and one of CdA’s most popular breakfast restaurants is across the highway about a 1/4 mile up. Parking is tight, it’s a small establishment, surprisingly no road noise from the highway or freeway. Appears to be at the edge of the older part of CdA.

I appreciate the consistency and straight forward, business attitude of the staff while still keeping a courteous and professional relationship with customers. I've stayed at several more expensive rooms at nearby hotels throughout this summer and I can honestly say Budget saver not only made my boys and I feel safe but they also had the CLEANEST! The desk clerk Cassandra was extremely helpful and polite. The fact the Hotel also provides full time residence for seasonal/foreign workers we found admirable. They stayed quiet and obviously were focused on work. The renovations are nice, with great improvements to the pool area.

I chose this hotel because it was close to where we wanted to go. About a 5 min Uber drive. I love that the doors locked for safety and you need a card to get in after a certain hour. The staff was friendly, the room was clean ( and I'm picky), the beds were so comfortable.
